Who starts a coffee shop without an espresso machine? We did. Would we do it again? Not exactly. We didn’t have a plan, just a hunch and a love for good coffee. Iowa isn’t the first place people think of for great coffee, which made it the perfect place to start. We just wanted to make something that felt honest. No gimmicks. We could be your new go-to. We could be a one-time fling. That’s the thing, coffee hits different for everyone. We’re not here to tell you how to feel about it. We’re just glad you ended up here.

Our Bowery Street cafe is lined with VHS tapes and memorabilia from our childhood. You might catch anything from an old skate tape to Shrek playing on our two small TVs. We strive to be a community space for all and a cozy place to spend a minute or an afternoon. We also happen to have some really great specialty drinks and coffee, roasted in-house.
